Frequent flyer is a loyalty program offered by most airlines worldwide. It is one of the most important program to hold customers as much as possible. The benefits associated with this program can be different from one airline to another. However, there have been several partnerships recently that were created to consolidate the passengers into a small group of airlines for a large geographical space such as the Skyteam Alliance (Air France, Delta, Alitalia…..) or One World (Royal Air Maroc, American Airline, Iberia, Qatar Airway….).

Safar Flyer loyalty program was designed by Royal Air Maroc to reward passengers for their loyalty. With this program, the passenger accumulates miles by flying with them, and can convert those miles into:

Free extra bag or weights
Free exchange penalty
Upgrade to business flight
Free UM service on board
The advantages and limits of Safar Flyer program
The passenger gains a bonus of 4000 miles after completing 4 flights.
The passenger can reclaim their non-accounted miles within 6 months.
The eligible age to become a Safar Flyer membership is 2 years and up.
The new Safar Flyer members receive their card within 4 weeks after making their first trip.
The miles are valid for 3 years in an individual account and 5 years in the Safar Family account.
The silver and gold status are valid for one calendar year (from January, 1st to December, 31st).
The passenger can automatically get the silver and gold card when they reach the required mileage during a calendar year.

Safar Family program and its limits
Safar Family is a common account for members belonging to the same family, which includes parents, children below 26 years old, and grand-parents. With Safar Family, miles can be accumulated quickly and remain for longer (up to 5 years).
To apply for this program, passengers are required to provide a copy of their passport or personal ID, and fill-up the online form available in the Royal Air Maroc website.

Remarque
The children can get a discount of 25% on required miles for the adult , and the infant can get a discount of 90%.
The passenger can not combine two benefits of miles in one flight
6 th freedom chart
It means using the miles for a flight with international stop over in Casablanca. Royal Air Maroc charges 100% of miles required for the highest area + 50% of miles required for lowest area.
Exemple for one way from New York to Alger through to Casablanca with Royal Air Maroc.
The highest number of miles required from New York to Casablanca is 25000
The lowest number of miles required from Casablanca to Alger is 12500
So the total to issue this ticket with 6 th freedom is: (25000 + 12500/2) = 31250 miles.
